1 CORINTHIANS 16 / BLOG

An intentful relationship leads to intentful generosity. This then inspires intentful giving which opens the door for intentful relationships. The idea of relationship is meant to be a closed system of endlessly spirating intentful acts that prove and proof the true nature of our faith. The gospel goes out and through because it is a work of God that works in the hearts of men. When we live by it, it causes humanity to act counterintuitive to their fallen nature. Instead of devouring each other, they become devoted to each other. Instead of ending up helpless, they become effective helpers. This trend touches all areas of their life, from family to finance. Many who are not generous, or trusting, are those who have never interacted with the gospel in any meaningful way. If we are to create the spiration of God’s fruit in our Christian culture, the gospel and a spirit of thanks for and devotion to each other’s well-being will be of utmost importance to its success.

MY NAME IS JOSH MCGARY. First, I am a Pastor of a small church in Portland, Oregon named Aletheia Bible Fellowship. We call it ABF. I have been a pastor there for the better part of 20 years. I am very eclectic. What I love, I love loudly and immersively. I have notable collections of toys, funko pops, and vinyl. I also infamously love pop culture, comic books, technology, the arts, psychology and philosophy. https://sleek.bio/joshmcgary
