This is God’s grace at work. We try not to sin and we fall short of that goal. We are forgiven through the sacrifice of Christ.
We learn to rely more on God and to choose Him over the temptations to sin.
As we rely on Him we are victorious over sin through the victory of Christ.
The focus should be on relationship with God. Reliance on God. With proper relationship, through Christ we are saved from our own selfish desires.
