The only way we can truly recognize we live for Christ is by reflecting our actions based on His, represented in Scripture. Otherwise we compare it to an idea. an idea would fall into the category of self. This also helps us recognize how the Word of God is alive. The word of God is represented in Christ and He lives. And if we say He lives through us, then that applies to His word as well. They are hand in hand. you cannot represent one without the other, otherwise you are living a lie.
