It’s okay to disagree with another believer, lets get that straight. It’s okay to argue with a fellow brother or sister. Now John wants us to focus on our heart or attitude towards one another. People choose to either ignore or despise others in today’s culture. We are not to treat people as if they were mere enemies, but as with respect and love. But love is not so much a feeling, but a choice. So If we choose to love, God will give us the strength to do so.
