The method the devil approaches here is one used by the enemy to win a war, think of Chess. The objective is to kill the king, regardless of what other pieces still remain. Our duty is to have a knowledge of his tactics and such an awareness of our King that every corner is defended from our opposers. Do we leave holes open and unsealed due to our own complacency? This is how they enter. Keep your mind on Christ and remain vigilant. Truth does not die if we stand for it. But when we become easily swayed by an unexpected force, truth becomes a luxury item with a price tag. You buy the one that is most appealing to you as fast as possible, not realizing you just bought into a lie.
