Abide in the truth. God gives us eternal life through Christ. Now false teachers will not believe in the trinity so they’ll reject either of the three, but John wants us to hold to the truth of the trinity. We believers must be faithful. We must obey the commands of God. For this we give us fellowship with the Father and the son. So again meditate in the word my fellow believers, keep the commands in your hearts and minds and remain truthful and faithful.
