” So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father. And in this fellowship we enjoy the eternal life he promised us.”
1 John 2:24-25 NLT
The most effective way to keep your convictions of Christ fresh in your brain is to seek every and take every opportunity to express the Gospel. Remember how you were convicted and share that story as well but firmly represent the truth depicted in Scripture. If we rest after being saved, we forget how it was possible and this is a dangerous state of spirituality. When you are saved, recognize that it is a call to action, our book does not end, we move toward a new chapter. This means we must do right by the Author of our story as willing participants of what is being written for us. Otherwise we are nothing more than an example used to teach someone what to avoid.
