“See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure.”1 John 3:1-3 NLT
Those who are lost found themselves in that predicament not because God is “confusing or chaotic” but rather they are driving as if they know where they are going but they really have no clue. We don’t just go through life willy-nilly and we certainly don’t act like it’s all good when we are lost. We us our Siri or navigation system to help us find our way back home. Even if it’s a long road back those who feel like it’s impossible are not lost with Christ. They keep going in confidence that He knows the way, this is possible because He IS The Way. Not our own guessing game but His direction. Some of us seem to not know how to do this and so they will need more direction in a different way but they are not without hope. We have seen time and time again God will decide what is best and things happen not as we see fit but as He does and in the end all that is confusing and chaotic is answered and accounted for in their proper place. Including our sinful nature and selfish philosophy toward life.
