Christ sacrificial love showed us what love should look like. This love is agape love. Believers should take this command to love and show it to others not just merely say it and not mean it as John talks about. At that point what are you doing? Why lie about love? Are we afraid to show this type of sacrificial love? Love is a complex thing. We should show love by actions, be consistent in love and love those who even hate you. All humans struggle to show this towards others, but we believers have God. We have Christ. So apply these aspects to your life’s, meditate and pray about them. Don’t be afraid, be In truth, love others as Christ did and obey Gods commands.
