For love to supersede through our sinful nature, as God designed, we ought to reflect the example of Christ. This means sacrifice. Be willing to give up something, be it an attitude, struggle, time, whatever, for the glory of God’s true eternal love to be seen within us as children of God. We now know how to love because he truly loved us first.
