“If you see a fellow believer sinning in a way that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give that person life. But there is a sin that leads to death, and I am not saying you should pray for those who commit it. All wicked actions are sin, but not every sin leads to death.”
1 John 5:16-17
When we pray for our brothers and sisters and their dealings with sin, we must pray recognizing they are brothers and sisters in Christ dealing with the attack of sin in their lives, habitually. We pray they gain the discernment and humbleness to submit to God and find that way out that God always provides. Those who sin blatantly, unrepentantly and continuously out of malice are against God’s creation and we should be praying for protection from them as representatives of Christ’s body. We know these people and powers exist in this world and they are not partnering up to bring about GOd’s will but rather to diminish it. Pray for our brothers and sisters for protection. Pray for Christ’s light to shine through and recognize the life he gives over death. God’s will blankets over every thought and plan within creation so as we pray for it to be done, that means we are partnering up with Him and no one else. We trust he will recruit all who is purposed to and will put those who are antichrists where they ought to be.
