The world is worked endlessly by the “touch” of Satan and that isn’t hard to tell. But God is in control in such an intense way that Satan can only do so much. But God’s will prevails every time. What a blessing that is. We can have confidence in such a blatantly degraded world because we see the evidence of His redemption through His creation and His work on the cross. The hand of God’s purified creation is stained by sin through the temptation of Satan. But even when this happened in the beginning with Adam and Eve, God always provided a way for us to easily do right by Him. Now all it comes down to is a choice. Allow the darkness to inform you accurately but don’t rest in it. Allow that to strengthen you as God’s light prevails. We can always make the right choice in this dark world. We just ought to take the time to seek out the right path that is consistently provided for.
