“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.”
Ephesians 1:3-5 NLT
God loved us before we were even created, it’s part of his nature is to love. Even if we fall short because of our own finiteness he still loves us. What we should be asking ourselves is do we love when our own brothers fall short, our own sisters? Do we love them if they sin? Do we even love our enemies? Christ did, so why shouldn’t you love them? Love is a struggle for most, but we have a perfect example through Christ and how he loved all when he was here. So love each other believers, love your enemies and apply this aspect of love into your lives and be aware of how you’re loving in your relationships with others.
