“The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalms 23:1-6 NLT
I appreciate this passage’s powerful, short, sweet, and to the point message in this Psalm. It serves to me as an important reminder, that God is in control in every situation. Apart of every problem and every solution, our God is our guiding shepherd. This to me shows the level of faith we can have in him. From our needs or wants, situation and struggles, sustainability and worship, safety or comfort, blessings and burdens. We can trust God with every need, problem, struggle, and burden. As well as our wants, solution, blessings, and gifts. We can intrust him with every thing and should. Then due to his intentional nature we can use this as an example of the type of leader we are to be. A dependable, consistent, wise, and caring leader.
